UROTINEX has spasmolytic action promoting the passage of stones in the tracts and reducing the pain of renal and ureteric colic’s. It has a hyperemic effect and reduces inflammatory effects. UROTINEX has anti-bacterial activity against a range of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms. Terpenes such as Borneol are substantially metabolized in man and animals to their glucuronides which are eliminated in the urine.

UROTINEX is a formulation that promotes the disintegration and elimination of renal and urinary tract stones. Terpenes such as Borneol are metabolized and excreted in the urine mainly. In the form of glucuronides, which increase the solubility of calcium salts.
Urotinex - uroantiseptic, which includes a terpene combination due to which litholytic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, diuretic,antioxidant action is achieved. Urotinex acts on different types of stones. It can be used for urate, oxalate, andphosphate stones. It does not change the pH of urine. Normal pH urine prevents the development ofinfectious complications.
Although no teratogenic effects have been reported, UROTINEX should not be given in the first trimester of pregnancy, and it should not be given to lactating females.
Should not be used in patients receiving oral anti-coagulants or other drugs metabolized by the liver where dose is critical.
It is recommended for human consumption over the age of 12.
The recommended dosage of Urotinex is 1-2 capsule per day before the meal or as prescribed by the doctor. The capsule must be taken with water.
As such there are no reported side effects of Urotinex. But we recommend to not exceed the recommended intake.
Should not be used more than 1-2 months. Also, there are no withdrawal symptoms or effects when stopped.
